Back to an old painting!!!

I started this painting about 3 years ago. After taking ann baldwin's collage class, I decided to see if I could finish it. I am thinking of adding some transparencies of my garden pictures.

Hi Peggy, how about a butterfly printed on a transparency? I think it would be fabulous with the floral theme.

wow, that is a really nice painting to begin with Peggy. Did you consider tranfering the images on the transparency directly to the painting with gel medium?? That might be very cool. I would practice on a similar painted canvas first (does not have to be finished painting) to see what it looked like and to prace the transfer technique . . . . just an idea! : ) lenna

I can't see a think I would do -- they are lovely as is. Of course you can always add some detail - maybe a transparency of a two or three line poem

One other thing I thought of -- take photocopies of your paintings and use bits of them in other work. You can also make black and whites of them and use in other work too. If you don't feel like they are finished, then by all means, add something. But if they look finished to you, I'd leave them. They are beautiful!
