Thanks for all of you who have helped me celebrate my 500th post by commenting!!!

When I started my blog I said to myself that I was going to post everyday, just something! I was good for a while then slacked off and then restarted posting. It is like most of my projects. I start out with such enthusiasm and sl-----o----w---ly  wane in my enthusiasm. I said to myself, for once I was going to try and follow through! My blog has become for me a chance to show my art, share my family, celebrate the art of other artists, promote the sites of the wonderful businesses that supply me with my images I love to play with, and generally, to stay in touch my my friends through art. Thanks again for making me want to continue blogging along!!!

You know those paper napkins you have?

There is a tag swap over at paperwhimsy  and we are exchanging tags made from paper napkins. We are also sending a dozen napkins along with the tag. Sounds silly maybe, but fun to do!!!

When I went to Michael De Meng's "Day of the Dead " workshop in Oaxaca last October I made this clay sculpture over a light bulb for a shrine. I never used it!
