Collage, my favorite art form!

Paper, cut and paste!
Images from Victoria magazine, garden catalogs and magazines.

Wrapping paper from Dover quilt series.
I love to combine papers to make a realistic picture so areas flow together.
12"x12"
I used photoshop to enhance a few colors and then used a grain filter.
The original is very close to this. The grain filter just makes it richer and looks like a painting.

Next time you look through a magazine or catalog you may see the beginnings of your collage!

Original digital painting. I took a picture of it and sent it to Spoonflower, a company that prints your designs onto a variety of fabrics. You can design a pattern of your upload and then choose amount of fabric. I usually buy an 8"x8" square.
