Helena LOVED santas! She had the most wonderful collection of santas from around the world. Her holiday display took over the whole family room. What a treat. I collect snowmen. Each holiday we would exchange ornaments...of course she got a santa and I got a snowman.
I met helena through my art group which raises money for art programs in the local schools by selling our paintings.
Anyway...sadly, she died suddenly last spring. I miss her. So, I decided she needed a new santa ornament . She loved old fashioned handmade ornaments.
Helena, I made this for you!

Friday surprise!!!
Lynn F at http://adreamseyeview.blogspot.com/ surprised me with this award.
Thanks lynn for my early christmas gift!
I will post my 8 after I have a chance to make a decision from the many blogs I so enjoy.
"This blog invests and believes the PROXIMITY -nearness in space, time and relationships! These blogs are exceedingly charming. These kind bloggers aim to find and be friends. They are not interested in prizes or self-aggrandizement. Our hope is that when the ribbons of these prizes are cut, even more friendships are propagated. Please give more attention to these writers! Deliver this award to eight bloggers, who must choose eight more and include this cleverly-written text into the body of their award."
