How sweet! I love the way she is tenderly (not) holding her doll baby! I always look at a close-up, so I saw the face in the mail slot. Very clever. THanks so much for the blog award, and for playing along!
Peggy..this is just so sweet!! i love the image of the little girl and her doll..was that a single image or did you add the doll.the little friend peeking out the mailbox slot is adorable!! i remember when i was very young that everyone in our neighborhood had mail slots in the door..i can hear the mail dropping now!! even as young as i was then,i always thought.oh,what if someone has a dog? what wonderful memories this piece brings!!
I have to be sure there are no nuns lurking in there before I have the courage to post a comment!! (A private joke between Peggy and me). Peggy, this is so beautiful. I love your door and its rustic surroundings and I love the deep earthy colours with that gorgeous splash of blue. This is a stunning little piece of art. Take a bow! Cheers from Marie.
