I love it! A great and original take on the Mona Lisa theme. I am a fan of Audrey's too. I remember wishing I could look so as good in a woollen skirt and grey stockings!! Sadly it never happened! Hey, I just saw your avatar/profile picture. Were you teaching in Western Australia in the late 1950's? If so, I am coming around with a ruler to pay you back. Only jokin'. I survived the Irish nuns. Thanks so much for entering the challenge. I hope you can come back next week when the theme will be "doors".
Is that Mona getting a new slant on things? Clever, clever, clever, Peggy! Thanks so much for taking part in our maiden voyage. We look forward to seeing more of your work!
I love your sense of humor and your Mona! This is a wonderful challenge. Don't know if I'll have time to try making my own "Mona" but what a great idea! :)
Peggy, What fun! Love your interpretation of Mona! I adore Audrey, also! Awhile back I did a challenge for "Theme Thurday" on Hats. I used Audrey's hat she wore in "My Fair Lady" along with Audrey wearing it.This is my First visit to your blog via "The Three Muses" I'm glad I stopped by. Your flower collages are FABULOUS!!!!!!
Mona looks as if she's having fun here!
