Good morning, Peggy...I loved seeing your family photos...they brought many wonderful memories of my own family to mind as well. I see your mom was born in 1914. My mom was born in 1913, but passed away at age 79. My father passed at 66...now both my brother and sister passed away within 2 months of each other this past winter...life is so fleeting. I thought I was already on your followers list but was surprised when I didn't see my mug shot:) there so joined you today. I come here often and I should not have just assumed. It is hot here today but we had very welcomed rain all last evening and over the night. Perhaps it may rain again this afternoon. Be well, thank you for being a friend. Hugs, Gayle.
These were an absolute treat, Peggy! I adore old family pictures. My mom gave me her album a few months ago. She started it when she was in grade school and kept it going until we were in early grade school. I totally treasure those pics and the memories! Fabulous post! Hugs, Terri xoxo
Peggy...looking through all of your pictures brought tears to my eyes. What a wonderful memory you have of your mother and the pictures are fantastic. It's too bad that we all don't have the variety of photos that you have to remember others by.
Peggy...I,too, am an adopted child..at 6 mos.old; I so know the special love and bonds in your family.....the photos are so wonderful and show us what a loving family that you have...and so fun loving too!! Happy Birthday to your Mom....
Happy Birthday Mama C! What a wonderful array of pictures of your beautiful mama! :)
The top one of her - in the overalls with the kitten - is probably my favorite image - maybe my favorite photograph in the entire world! Because I LOVE the look on her face - so determined and sweet, saying "I'm gonna keep her and there's nothing you can do about it!". Heh Heh!
Thank you for sharing her life in pictures, sweet mama p!
