3 Muses! What's in your pocket?

When I read about this challenge, "show us what's in your pocket" I went into my studio to make something. I passed by a shelf with all these drawers and this guy is there standing up in a drawer. "pocket bear", of course!
A stretch perhaps on the theme, but here's the story. I found PB at a garage sale in the late 60's just when I was starting to collect bears. You mean someone was letting this little guy go????? I rescued him and put him in my jean pocket. From then on he was with me a lot when the boys were little. He would talk to them when we went on errands or were riding in the car. He had a way of making the time go by when the boys got tired of running errands or waiting in line at the "drug store"! I think I probably carried him for about 5-6 years every day! The boys still remember pocket bear!

That's my story and I'm stickin to it!

  5. Peggy, I love your pocket bear! My mother knitted toys like him for her children and later on for her grandchildren. We treasured them. I wonder what modern-day kids would make of them. Probably go looking for their batteries! Great work.
