Autograph book 1886

My mother-in-law's mothers school autograph book. I am so glad it wasn't lost in a house fire. I was amazed at the penmanship, the lovely sayings AND, that they even used german scrap on some of the pages!
I thought you might enjoy seeing a vintage altered book!
I am thinking of using the pages to design some background papers!
The y do not need in my opinion any more altering!

  1. A truly beautiful book, how lucky that it survived and that you are now the owner to cherish it... it will look great in backgrounds for sure xxxx

  3. This reminds me of an autograph book my Grandmother once showed me. I haven't seen it in years, but it was a treasure, too.

    Lovely, lovely!
