Blue Monday!

Washi paper bowl!
Layers of washi paper layered on a wooden bowl and then removed from bowl . Using the technique you can make a paper bowl out of any papers you wish. The papers must be toner and not inkjet, so the inks don't bleed. Seal finished bowl with acrylic varnish of your choice. (I like Delta semi-gloss)

  7. Peggy, that is a really neat bowl! How on earth do you remove the papers without tearing them up? Is the bowl like a mold of sorts? I love the blue and white. Did you xeorox these or run them off on your own printer? So many questions. But it's truly neat!

    Happy Blue Monday!
