This is an illustration by Margaret Evans Price.
She was an illustrator of children's books in the 30's.
BUT, I also discovered that she and her husband Herman Fisher, established the company of
FISHER-PRICE in 1930!
I thought that was interesting!!
So I did nothing to this charming illustration except add a border and some grass and flowers!
Funny piece, Peggy!
