Gothic arches/ Inventors!!!

I chose the inventor of SHOES!
OGG!
I actually got this info from "WikiAnswers"
The first answer was
"possibly Mesopotamia (c.1600-1200BC), soft shoes worn by the mountain people who lived on the border of Iran. They also have the first recipe for beer"

Now I thought this was interesting, but not as fun as the second answer,
"Ogg". He wrapped is feet in the rabbit skin of his hunt because his feet were sore. The tribe called his invention,
"Mukluks"!
I thought that was a much more interesting bit of history!

Somehow zettis are very hard for me to create and that is strange because I think I may BE A ZETTI!
I am mixed up all the time!

Autograph book 1886

My mother-in-law's mothers school autograph book. I am so glad it wasn't lost in a house fire. I was amazed at the penmanship, the lovely sayings AND, that they even used german scrap on some of the pages!
I thought you might enjoy seeing a vintage altered book!
I am thinking of using the pages to design some background papers!
The y do not need in my opinion any more altering!

Mixed Media Monday! Music

How High The Moon
Les Paul and Mary Ford

A comment was made on how I did this piece!
4"x6" postcard from Women in Blue, Darling and Co.
I cut out the image of the lady. I made a transparency of 1 of my sky photos.
Glued the image on top.
For this challenge I scanned the original piece and the added the moon, color on the flowers and earring with photoshop brushes. Then did a washi filter.
