Bees wax painting! Feedback please

I have been working on this 12"x12" canvas for almost a year. I do something then put it away. I got some new "Pan Pastels" and decided to do some layering over the bees wax.
What do you think?

  2. Peggy, this is one of my very favorites of all your work. I wish I knew what you layered over beeswax. Acrylics? colored wax? Is this a picture that you covered with wax? Whatever it is, it is simply amazing. Frame it and hang it on the wall. Gorgeous.

I have no idea how you did this, but it's so beautiful. It's a piece I wwould hang in a place where I could see it often It's a real mood elevator.
