My painting and interpretation of
Goodnight Moon!
Our boys love books! I used to love to read them a story at night and it got so they could "read" along with me even though they couldn't read yet!
I even used to make them take "book rests" instead of naps. They would pick out their favorite stories and sit on the bed .....usually fell asleep and if not, they were resting!!!
This is so wonderful Peggy- I did the same with my son many years ago. A warm and beautiful entry full of the best memories that make a house a home!
ReplyDeletePeggy, a great piece. It evokes memories of many childhood story books!
ReplyDeleteAwww so cute. Look at the wonderful life skills you gave them by reading to them.
ReplyDeleteI love it, Peggy. That was my little guy's favorite book...I memorized it but he knew when I was skipping pages!! LOL That little guy will be 25 Sept. 23rd...how time flies....at warp speed!!
ReplyDeleteNice take on the theme!
