This is a wonderful, moving photo! This woman looks so serene, yet you can see she is tired, maybe from a lifetime of hard work. She is such a good representation of the Mexican woman. I hope she has a large family with many grandchildren!
I was there too..pronounced "Whoa-ha-ka" a few years ago. The women who begged on the street touched my heart. I sculpted several once I got home. How lucky we are and how rich we are in comparison. They may be happy though, in ways that we don't understand.
