I started with a landscape by Van Gogh and then tried to imagine what his eyes saw.
The moon became a sunflower and an eye.I made the hills of the landscape into twirls. I like the "woodblock" look. Van Gogh was inspired by Hokusai and Hiroshige.
What do you see when you close your eyes?
