sunday postcard! Travel and Paintparty friday

Room with a view!
Pastel painting of roof top from our room in Venice, 1998 trip.
I was fascinated by the colors and the pastels worked perfectly to get the intensity of light and dark.

    The softness and the colors capture the feeling of a European rooftop! Each time I have been there I have been amazed by the beauty in the details (such as rooftop or windows) of the old cities like Venice and Florence.
