haiku my heart

Why does the wisdom
Come when we are older and
not when we need it ?

When I was younger
I knew it all and behaved
sometimes arrogant!

Learning is constant!
Listen, respond and inspire.
You are a teacher!

  1. Which is why we get the wisdom later. Otherwise, how could be truly teach and know that what we were teaching was true.

  4. Wise words for sure in your haiku. I believe we all had the same experience and realized it when we put some space between childhood and adult. Now, to get that message to the young so they possibly can flourish sooner than ourselves. Wonderful concept.
    Thanks for this today.

    Peace

  11. However, I've also discovered something else I believe to be true: If we do not learn, we have nothing to teach.
