Why does the wisdom
Come when we are older and
not when we need it ?
When I was younger
I knew it all and behaved
sometimes arrogant!
Learning is constant!
Listen, respond and inspire.
You are a teacher!

Which is why we get the wisdom later. Otherwise, how could be truly teach and know that what we were teaching was true.
ReplyDeleteWe still have so much to learn, don't we? Wonderful words for reflection and wise instructions!!! Have a grand weekend!
ReplyDeleteMuch food for thought. Wish I could undo somethings in my life!
ReplyDeleteSuch deep wisdom Peggy!
ReplyDeleteWise words for sure in your haiku. I believe we all had the same experience and realized it when we put some space between childhood and adult. Now, to get that message to the young so they possibly can flourish sooner than ourselves. Wonderful concept.
ReplyDeleteThanks for this today.
Peace
My mom used to say: "Youth is wasted on the young." Beautiful picture.

Yes, we are all wise after the events aren't we? And yes Deb is so right now we have all of the wisdom "let's have a blast be young wild a free". x
ReplyDeleteHowever, I've also discovered something else I believe to be true: If we do not learn, we have nothing to teach.
