Poor Robert Mitchum, he didn't age handsomely did he? However, he had a great pair of eyebrows.
I remember seeing a famous British TV interviewer (Michael Parkinson) talking about his worst interview of all time. Robert Mitchum appeared on his show and he just said "Yup" and "nope" and refused to add anything else to the conversation. The show had to be closed down a half hour early.

Wonderful expression, kind of haughty or intimidating. I think the raised eyebrows and the frown really contribute to that!
