OGG!
I actually got this info from "WikiAnswers"
The first answer was
"possibly Mesopotamia (c.1600-1200BC), soft shoes worn by the mountain people who lived on the border of Iran. They also have the first recipe for beer"
Now I thought this was interesting, but not as fun as the second answer,
"Ogg". He wrapped is feet in the rabbit skin of his hunt because his feet were sore. The tribe called his invention,
"Mukluks"!
I thought that was a much more interesting bit of history!
