Happy Birthday daddy!

Carl Francis Dailey was Irish and doubly so as he was born on St Patrick's Day! This holiday was a special event in my life. We would start the day by listening to Bing Crosby sing "MacNamara's band" on the stereo and daddy always had a very green tie on with his dark blue business suit!
So, top of the mornin to you all and if you are lucky enough to be Irish, you're lucky enough!!!

what a great tribute to your dad...being an irish daughter, I know what it was like to grow up with Bing and all the other little things only the irish child understands.

This is the dearest photo and post. My little sister, Jenny, was the last of six children, (I had the ummm...honor ..of being the oldest) and my mother, an Irish lass, hoped with all her might she would have this baby on St. Patrick's Day. She got her wish. It is a very special day, indeed.
