Thank you all for your encouraging comments last week!
I think I got back to most of you and if I missed anyone will try to get to you this weekend!
I did not have a mat to fit the painting exactly. I used 1 slightly bigger and found some paper to put under as a background. thenI centered the painting on the top of the paper. I adhered it with "red sticky tape"!
After some painting Original copy of my painting on cardstock I remark using pastel pencils, soft pastels. I shave the pastels with a craft knife into small palette. Add some water to them and then add details with a brush. so happy to find this blog!!! http://traceypotterartist.blogspot.com/2012/01/palette-paint-9.html
This is an 8" x 10" collage I did using various washi papers I have. If you would like to use it in your art, please feel free to print it! I love asian and I love moos!!!!

Art has become for me "therapy". I can celebrate happy occasions or work through sad or difficult times by creating art. I love creating special art for others. I often use old family pictures in my pieces and feel good about giving them birth again. I love to laugh,am very sentimental, and cry more happy tears than sad ones. Loyality, honesty, and sharing good things with others is important to me. I enjoy seeing all the new art of artists friends and am learning something new every day!
Laughing makes better wrinkles on your face!
