Whaaaaaa...I remember the first time I saw THE BIRDS !! Never forgot the scene that they picked out the eyes !!!! Aargggh. So creepy. But know.....I LOVE LOVE LOVE it haha, such as your piece Peggy !! Great work.
In the springtime nesting season here in my part of the world the magpies are on the rampage and they do swoop and peck at people just walking along. Pretty scary stuff although I talk to MY magpies that come into my yard and they are tame enough to walk right up to me. Thanks for the reminder of Alfred and his birds!! I watched the movie recently on Turner Classics.

Art has become for me "therapy". I can celebrate happy occasions or work through sad or difficult times by creating art. I love creating special art for others. I often use old family pictures in my pieces and feel good about giving them birth again. I love to laugh,am very sentimental, and cry more happy tears than sad ones. Loyality, honesty, and sharing good things with others is important to me. I enjoy seeing all the new art of artists friends and am learning something new every day!
Laughing makes better wrinkles on your face!

That movie freaked me out....your rendition is equally frightening! Blood red birds. YIKES!
Actually anything Alfred did frightened me!
Deliciously creepy! Every time I see more than a few birds congregated, I think of this movie...Nice work, Peggy!
This was such a scary film and your interpretation is great. Annette
