Today.

August 4th 1944 the police discovered Anne Frank and her family in their hiding place and took them away.
August 4th 1944 I was born.
I feel a responsibility to be good enough for my life.

Oh my gosh, Peggy, I was on the Gingersnaps blog and saw this pic of Anne Frank and clicked the button to your blog...What a wonderful spirit this brave girl was and how amazing that you share the same birthday.
Wishing you a very Happy Birthday!!

I just realized that it's not the same birthday you share, but rather that on that auspicious day in Anne's life, you were born. I can't believe how you intertwined the two images to show the profound connection.

I hope that your birthday was amazing and that you have a wonderful year ahead!!!
XO

First of all thank you for reminding us of this courageous girl. And your connection to her. It must in one way cast a shadow over your birthday but I always think of her spirit and her wish to live life to the full so that is what I wish you for your birthyday today!

I just got back from Lake George and onto my mail. Just remember, there is a silver lining to every cloud. Our paths are determined, not by us but by higher beings. It is what we do on that path that makes a difference. Both you and Anne Frank have made an impact on my life due to your paths. And for that, I'm grateful for both of you. Namaste, my dear friend and happiest of late birthdays.
