Hi Peggy Gal....long time no see or hear from! Glad you dropped by today at CITexas Gal to see the Butterflies! Looks as if you are staying busy with your fantastic art work.
I really enjoyed seeing your photos from your Day of The Dead experiences. It's an amazing holiday in Mexico and rich with symbolism and creative traditions. I have many Mexican Friends who have strong ties to this as well as other tradtional Mexican holidays. I've learned to appreciate their culture and religion...so rich!
First of all, a BIG thanks for leaving so many lovely comments on my blog. You have brought so much joy to me!
I have had a few very busy days, so I didn't get around to come over to your blog sooner. Rest assured though that I always enjoy checking out your new artwork.
This piece is no exception. I have always liked the lady, and now I even know that she is a party girl after all. ;)
Photo from divasdeste cd!
Art has become for me "therapy". I can celebrate happy occasions or work through sad or difficult times by creating art. I love creating special art for others. I often use old family pictures in my pieces and feel good about giving them birth again. I love to laugh,am very sentimental, and cry more happy tears than sad ones. Loyality, honesty, and sharing good things with others is important to me. I enjoy seeing all the new art of artists friends and am learning something new every day!
Laughing makes better wrinkles on your face!

How Fun, love it!
Great piece, Peggy! This lady has always looked so sad and lost to me. I'm glad you gave her a livelier alter ego!
Very nice composition, and I like the colors a lot!
