I have never seen a Red Bud tree before. We were staying in Carmel, Ca on the week end and this beauty was in the backyard!

Faye said...: This is gorgeous. The framing of the leaves with the green is very pretty. The redbud tree has gorgeous pinkish-purplish flowers in the springtime. I don't remember ever seeing any with red leaves. Our chinese redbud trees have yellow leaves. We don't have any wild redbud trees in our woods.; October 4, 2010 at 10:12 AM
