This is a wonderful, moving photo! This woman looks so serene, yet you can see she is tired, maybe from a lifetime of hard work. She is such a good representation of the Mexican woman. I hope she has a large family with many grandchildren!

I was there too..pronounced "Whoa-ha-ka" a few years ago. The women who begged on the street touched my heart. I sculpted several once I got home. How lucky we are and how rich we are in comparison. They may be happy though, in ways that we don't understand.

What a touching photo. Her expression tells all. The worn wood above her head could be interpreted as a halo.

Lovely photograph. I really love how the pattern on her dress/apron are contrasted from the wood. & the blue shall just sings color. You captured her moment in time~ Theresa
