Memorial Day!

Some of you have seen this mixed media collage before, but I thought it appropriate to post on my blog to honor all the men and women who have helped preserve the freedom we enjoy!

I did this piece for several days in 2001, 9/11.

I needed something to do to make my sadness, then anger, become calmer and productive. As you know from my blog bio, I use art a lot as therapy for myself. It tends to make the negative turn just slightly positive.
