Make something beautiful! 

This is one of my "art therapy" pieces I did almost  3 years ago. I have shown it before on my blog when I first made it, but I really think it is worth showing again. A favorite of mine that hangs in my office where I can see it each day.

I made it for my friend Cathy who died 2 years ago of ovarian cancer. I made it when she was going in and out of the hospital . We had shared so many times of happy carefree times together and now we were sharing her difficult days. She was there for some of my unhappy life changes.

Then name is 

Friends In Sunshine and Shade.

What I wrote to go with the painting:

She added laughter to my happy times

And comfort to my trying times.

We were friends in sunshine and shade.
