Added frosting trim and rest of the hearts to my cake!

Felted valentine
cake box> 3" dia,
lined with florentine
paper, on german
scrap. Everything is felted with a needle. The only glue used was to line the inside of the box top and bottom. Fabulous teacher, 8 students.
I think I was very close to heaven!

February Treat!

Family on my husband's mother's side. 3"x4" in fold over card holder. She is so pretty and I do not know her name and she is a relative. I thought it would be nice to send her off on a new journey. She will be sent to the 3rd name drawn!

Bear creche!

I made this creche 15 years ago. I got some cute little bears and big naked bears and dressed them all in felt and washcloths! The 3 wise men are bringing gifts and the camel is carrying them...roses for mary and hannukah candles(jesus was jewish). There are some toys for jesus, and a gingerbread cookie. The sign around the camel's neck reads..."bethlehem or bust", and it is on a star. Angel watches over all!

Mama bear and baby bear and brother bear!

So, 15 years ago I was into holiday boutiques and used to make little table top decorations! This is a photo of one of those decorations that I hung onto cause I loved it! Well, it is time to pass it on to another family(maybe with young children or grandchildren) to begin "anew"!

The first comment I get re the 3 bears decorating the tree, if you want it say so and include your name and address and after christmas I will mail it to you. You must promise to use it or pass it on to someone who might enjoy it!!!

Here is a photo of a big cookbook I have. I don't use it for cooking, but it is the perfect size and weight for flattening papers if they are damp and curled....art drys perfectly! Just remember to put a piece of waxed paper over your art!

I found this little clown when I went to visit Tamara, an art friend! He had no hat, but I brought him home and added my own hat for the season!
