I have to neighbor girls that I have known since they were born and now they are graduated and off to begin a new chapter in their lives. I made these mini notebooks for them to use for saving little ideas  and thoughts.  They were my surrogate "grandchildren" !

A little egg charm goes with each book for them to remember their roots as they fly from the nest.

I am playing in a book swap with paperwhimsy. The theme is "cakes"! We make a 6" x7" page with a cake on the front. On the back will be an envelope with a cake recipe tucked inside.
