Vintage Christmas Monday!

this snowman was my mom's!
He is made of soap suds material. I did have to replace the brim of his felt hat, every thing else is original 1940.

Back
I love that he is wearing "tails"! I've never seen a snowman in a tuxedo before!
The background is a page from one of my first Christmas books. More pictures of it later!!!!

I am just astounded by this snowman! I've never heard of or seen one made of soap suds! And the fact that it survived from the 40s must mean that it is very sturdy. I wonder if there is a how-to online? Because he looks like he is actually made of snow. I love him!
Happy VCM!
