I had the privilege of seeing the 9/11 Memorial in NY this week. It is beautiful. I talked to a fireman at a station near by and told him how powerful it was to see. He replied, "yes, but the black hole is so very dark that it makes me sad."
I decided to make the hole reach up with light.
And fill the hole with light.
